A 22-year-old woman who has been missing for more than two weeks sent her father a text message telling him she loved him 20 minutes before she disappeared.
Melanie Wilson was last seen at her home in Sutton-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire, at around 11.20pm on 19 October.
Her "heartbroken" father said he is going through "hell" over her disappearance.
David Wilson said: "I'd imagine hell is similar to what I and family and friends are going through. We're all heartbroken. Everywhere we look there's a reminder of her.
"The last time I saw her was when she popped in to see me at home on Monday (17 October).
"We just had a general chat and hugged each other as she left. She seemed her usual self."
Mr Wilson went on: "The last contact I had with her was a text she sent me at about 11pm on Wednesday (19 October) which said 'I love you dad'.
"I sent her one back saying 'I love you too darling'."

Appealing directly to his daughter, Mr Wilson added: "We're all heartbroken and we just want you to come back.
"You're not in any trouble, we just need to know where you are and that you are safe."
Ms Wilson is described as white, 5ft 6in tall and of a slim build, with blonde hair and a sleeve tattoo on her right arm.
Her family and friends are growing increasingly concerned for her safety, Nottinghamshire Police said.
The force's dive team has carried out searches at King's Mill Reservoir and the Sutton Lawn Park pond in Sutton-in-Ashfield.
Meanwhile, residents have been urged to check their gardens, outbuildings, sheds and any other places which may be hidden from general view.
Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101, quoting incident 858 of 21 October 2016.
