Man charged with murder of Becky Godden Edwards

Ataxi driver has been charged with the murder of prostitute Becky Godden Edwards whose body was found in a field eight years after she disappeared.
The 20-year-old was missing for eight years before police told her mother, Karen, that her body had been found in a shallow grave in farmer's field. She would have celebrated her 34th birthday next Monday.

Christopher Halliwell will appear before magistrates at Chippenham, Wiltshire, on Thursday.
The case is expected to committed the crown court for a trial preparation hearing the next day.

Father-of-three Halliwell, aged 52 years, from Swindon, was charged by Wiltshire Police on Wednesday.
A man who confessed to her killing was not prosecuted after a judge ruled police ignored arrest guidelines.
