Man who absconded from mental health unit may be in Bradford
A MAN who absconded escorted leave from a mental health unit in London may be in Bradford, police have said.
Amardeep Sahota, 40, was last seen at around 11.30am on Thursday, May 12, at theBroadway on Uxbridge Road, Ealing, west London.
He has been receiving treatment at the mental health unit after being detained under sections 37 and 41 of the Mental Health Act and can be violent.
He is described as Asian, of stocky build, 5ft 9ins and is bald.
He was last seen wearing a white shirt with a blue jumper, blue jeans and black shoes.
It is believed he could be in Bradford. He has none of the medication he requires with him.
West Yorkshire Police have warned Mr Sahota should not be approached if seen. Members of the public should contact police via 999 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111 quoting reference 16MIS019557.
