Lets talk about Self Harm in prison.

There is no understanding what so ever about self harming in prison. When you tell a screw you feel like self harming (and) do a good job. Even though they are aware that you feel like self harming they still give you a razor. The health care team dont really support you nor does the mental health team.
As far as they are all concerned self harmers are all attention seekers, but at the end of the day this is why there are so many suicides in prison. You put an application in to the safer custody team you dont get no reply just that alone says something. Some prisoners are barred from the listeners service and samaritans so they are left with no support what so ever. When you do self harm you go on your review board in front of the SO and he sdays to you stop Fucking about because you will never get out. I dont give a Fing dam. At the end of the day I go home.
A lot of the public think prison life is easy let me tell you something it is not easy at all. On 3rd September till the 7th I will put a blog up every day about my prison life and thoughts every night.
